Bookish Resolution + January TBR!

Hey Guys! HAAAAAAPPPPPPPYYYY NEEEEWWWW YYYYEEEEEAAAARRRR! January 2014 is one of the months that I have been waiting because the rumour is that this month, I will get to know which state in Malaysia and school I will be posted. Pleeeeaseeeee let me knoooowww Ministry of Education!

So moving on, 2014 is here and I have a few bookish resolution that I want to achieve this year.

1. Read at least 20 books this year - though I know I'll read more than this but it is better to have a realistic resolution because I do not know what the future will be.

 2. To achieve my Reading Challenge goal - which is 11-20 books in my TBR pile. I have like more than 30 books in my TBR pile. So this can lessen the books a bit.

 3. To at least do 1 book review per month in this blog - I SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO DO 1 BOOK REVIEW IF THE INTERNET CONNECTION PERMITS IT!

These are my 3 bookish resolution that I hope to achieve by the end of this year.

Move on to my January TBR. I am thinking of reading 3 books this month. I know I am not ambitious in making resolution and in my reading quantity but I want to pace myself and enjoy the books that I want to read rather than achieving the biggest number of books.

A Game of Thrones and Sisters Red are in my TBR pile booke challenge list. As for Shatter Me, I have heard mixed reviews about it but I think that I will give it a try. You can click on the title of the books to read the summary of the books at GoodReads.

  1. I'm working on my resolutions right now, commenting back. So thank you for stopping by my blog Turning Pages! I feel like a lot of people make incredible resolutions for the new year, but I think these resolutions should be much more realistic like you said. And writing them down and thinking of ways to achieve them is also better than just to declare them or think them. Anyways, awesome post!

    1. Thanks Lisa! I love reading your blog and other people style of writing of review. I am trying to improve my written reviews. Anyway,Happy 2014!
