Top Ten Tuesday #2

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and The Bookish.
This week's topic is:

TOP TEN WORLDS I'D NEVER WANT TO LIVE IN/CHARACTER I'D NEVER WANT TO TRADE PLACES WITH

5 Worlds I'd Never Want To Live In

1. The world in the Shatter Me series - The people in the series seem so poor and they have to live in fear. I totally do no want that kind of life.

2. The world in Hunger Games - Not going to live in a world children killing each other are for entertainment.

3. The world in The Song of Ice and Fire series - The death rate in this world is so high.

4. The world in Something Strange and Deadly - I do not think that I can survive when there is a zombie attack.

5. The world in The Lord of The Rings - I love the books and the movies but not a world that I can see myself living.

5 Characters I'd Never Want To Trade Places With

1. Katniss in Hunger Games - I do not know how to defend myself. Pathetic me!

2. Mara Dyer in The Mara Dyer trilogy - People thinking I am crazy? No thanks. I'll stay sane.

3. Sansa in A Game of Thrones - I am not sure I can love a tyrant.

4. Bella in Twilight - Annoying. Enough said!

5. Hazel in The Fault in Our Stars - I am not as strong as Hazel and I'll curl up in my room and cry every day because of my unfortunate situation.

  1. I couldn't agree with you more! I wouldn't want to live in any dystopian world. But, I think I can make exception for Panem. Ohh Peeta *melts into a puddle of goo* haha xD

As for characters, nod, nod and nod for Katniss, Bella and Hazel. I think I won't survive in The Games too. I'm not that brave. I'll go all ninja and sneakery (is dat a word? xD) if I were a tribute. Bella is a joke. I don't want a sparkling vampire stalking me sleeping at night. Creeps me out. I haven't read TFiOS yet, but I think I'll break down every night, crying buckets and whatnot. Speaking of people with chronic disease, I found a booktuber that's as strong as Hazel. I'd never have guessed she has been living with that kind of disease (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, nak sebut pun payah) all this time. She's so energetic and cheery, I wouldn't have known if not for the video. Bookish Bunny. She's amazing.
There goes my essay-like comment, hehe.

    1. I've watched the videos by Bookish Bunny. She seems happy and energetic. Does not look like someone with a disease. She is strong!

  2. I also wouldn't swap places with Mara Dyer. I LOVE that book, but would hate to experience what she does!

  3. I actually thought of putting Hazel as well but I couldn't, I was too touched and sappy by it all.
If I were Sansa I'd kill me, she just wasn't a character I felt any sympathy towards. Being her would suck, you're right :)

    Thanks for stopping by!
